KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and mentor a high performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary financial partner for plant leadership, providing insights, support the plant in understanding their cost and identify their cost drivers.
- Explore the development of a robust financial planning tool based on cost drivers.
Lean Transformation & Operational Excellence
- Partner with operations to translate Lean manufacturing initiatives into measurable financial outcomes.
- Provide financial analysis for kaizen events, value-stream improvements, and waste elimination projects.
- Support the shift from traditional financial management to Lean aligned performance metrics that drive behaviors and transparency.
Cost Management & Performance Improvement
- Lead cost analysis and manufacturing performance tracking.
- Drive standardization and simplification of cost reporting and financial processes.
- Improve visibility into manufacturing KPIs such as scrap, labor efficiency, and throughput.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure integrated financial and operational decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and driving proactive financial management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or operations finance.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and influence cross-functional partners.
- Solid understanding of standard cost accounting, manufacturing processes, and cost drivers.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Preferred
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, Lean accounting, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- MBA, CMA, CPA, or similar certification.




- Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing analytics tools, and financial modeling best practices.
- Demonstrated success supporting operational transformations or organizational change management.
