**Our Opportunity**:
Allnorth is seeking an **experienced Surveyor located in Mexico** to support project work across British Columbia, Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to work with **brand-new Trimble equipment**, perform diverse surveying tasks, and contribute directly to the success of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
This position is idóneo for someone who thrives in remote project environments, has a strong attention to detail, and wants to grow with a highly respected technical services team.
**A Day in the Life**:
In this role, you will:
- Establish and maintain a network of control points for full project-length survey work
- Conduct staking of working widths, centerlines, and extra workspaces as per construction drawings
- Capture as-built pipe data, depth of cover, ditch plugs, and volumetric information
- Complete volume calculations and feature reporting on all site impacts
- Generate summary reports on pipe tracking (installed, waste, lost pipe,
joint tracking)
- Perform 3D scanning, modeling, and data processing using Leica scanners
- Work in remote areas or camp-based environments for extended periods
**What You'll Bring to the Team**:
- Minimum **3 years of construction surveying** experience
- Minimum **2 years of GPS fieldwork**
- Pipeline survey experience
- Slope staking and road surveying experience
- 3D scanning experience
- Degree/Diploma in **Geomatics Engineering** or **Surveying Technology**, or equivalent
- Experience with **AutoCAD Civil 3D** (asset)
- Registration as a Professional Survey Technologist (asset)
- Strong communication skills (must be able to read/write English fluently)
- High level of dependability, technical competence, and attention to detail
- Valid **driver's license**
- Must be **located in Mexico** with a **valid Mexican passport**
