**What will you bring to the team.
**
The Configurator is used by partners, internal sales, and other fulfillment organizations for quoting, ordering, and fulfillment.
Configurator software iterates with pricing, order management, internal and external manufactures, and other backend systems.
**What will you be doing**:
- Provides expertise in implementing, programming and troubleshooting Product Configurator programs, addressing complaints and resolving complex problems including user support.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and product structures.
- Lead and represent the product configuration group through various projects.
- Leads and coordinates work of others to develop and modify existing product configurations as well as create new ones.




- Maintain a customer focus and provide support throughout the organization.
- Assist training for new and existing personnel within the product configuration department.
- Assist in creating and maintaining departmental procedures and work instructions.
- Mentors other team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
**Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of**:
- BS or Master's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in Oracle Configurator development.
- Experience or familiarity with Oracle Item Master and/or Bill of Material Super user.
- Version R12.x or higher Oracle Configurator.
- Fluent in English.
**Preferred skills**:
- Point of Sale product knowledge.
- Experience with SQL, Java, or JavaScript.
- Version R12 Oracle configurator certification.
