**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Conduct manual testing with a focus on data accuracy, covering databases (SQL), APIs, message streams, and file-based sources.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, plans, and scenarios.
- Validate data pipelines, transformations, and ETL processes for correctness and consistency.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to define testing strategies.
- Perform API testing using tools like Swagger and ReadyAPI to verify integrations and functionality.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans and defect reports.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS) to test cloud-based solutions.
- Participate in security testing, using tools to identify vulnerabilities.
- Engage actively in Agile team activities, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, sharing best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of professional QA experience, or 5+ years in relevant roles without a degree.
**Technical Skills**:
- Proficient in manual testing concepts and data validation techniques.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in database testing.




- Familiarity with API testing tools like Swagger or ReadyAPI.
- Experience with AWS services, such as S3, RDS, and EC2, for cloud-based solution testing.
- Basic knowledge of web penetration tools for security testing.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines is a plus.
