This position will lead critical analytical activities, manage laboratory testing demand, support method development and optimization, and provide technical leadership for a research intern.




The role offers exposure to global projects and close collaboration with analytical teams across Kerry's international network.Key responsibilitiesPerform and lead advanced analytical testing activities within the R&D; laboratory.Manage analytical workload and prioritize laboratory requests.Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methodologies.Operate and support analytical instrumentation, particularly chromatographic and powder characterization technologies.Analyze and interpret complex analytical data to generate meaningful business insights.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including flavorists, R&D; scientists, and global analytical teams.Lead and mentor an intern supporting laboratory operations.Identify opportunities to improve laboratory capabilities and propose new analytical approaches and technologies.Qualifications and skillsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical laboratory environments.Strong hands-on experience with chromatography techniques.Experience in chemical analysis and powder characterization.Knowledge of analytical method development, validation, and optimization.Experience handling and interpreting large analytical datasets.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required for collaboration with general teams.Experience within food, flavors, chemical, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries preferred.Critical CompetenciesHigh level of autonomy and accountability.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Entrepreneurial mindset and continuous improvement orientation.Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-relevant recommendations.Collaboration and stakeholder management.Data analysis and statistical thinking.
