YOUR ROLEThe Systems Engineer Jr on our team shall be responsible at the forefront of developing next-generation of ADAS products.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the products and technology meet customer and regulatory requirements.
You will manage customer communication, requirements, and expectations throughout the product development lifecycle.In your daily job you will:Design, develop, and validate new products and technologyEnsure that system features and deliverables are completed on time per Aptiv quality standardsFollow APTIV design standards, guidelines, best practices, procedures and policiesEnsure the logical and systematic transformation of requirements into a total system solutionContribute to requirement analysis, system architecture, and feature integration / verificationConvert customer requirements into product requirements and design specificationManage and track system features to ensure high quality delivery on-timeDrive process, procedure,



and methodology improvements to optimize and continuously improve work efficiencyYOUR BACKGROUNDKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, electrical, or related field of study)Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challengeCross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven.
Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguityAbility to effectively manage several projects at onceStrong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profileKnowledge of programming (C or other language)Familiarity with embedded systems designsFamiliarity with system/software development processes (Automotive SPICE) and toolsExperience with embedded hardware and serial communication toolsExperience with low level drivers - SPI, I2C, and/or Ethernet driversExperience with developing SW on microcontrollers (e.G.
