Job Title: Managing EditorLocation(s): Mexico City, Warsaw, SpainAbout the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of high‐quality print and digital ELT (English Language Teaching) course materials, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
You will work across multiple projects, collaborating with cross‐functional teams and external suppliers to manage content from final manuscript through to publication and release.
You will play a key role in coordinating workflows, managing schedules, and ensuring all project components meet agreed quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast‐paced publishing environment and is passionate about delivering high‐quality educational content.Role ResponsibilitiesManage the end‐to‐end delivery of course components from approved manuscript through publication, applying strong project management capabilities, driving operational excellence, and maintaining a quality‐focused approach to ensure timely and accurate delivery.Prepare and manage manuscripts, design files, media, and digital assets for production, leveraging expertise in publishing workflows and systems while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established quality standards.Support copyediting and proofreading stages, including reviewing artwork briefs and audio scripts, utilizing strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality management to maintain content integrity.Coordinate proof circulation and digital releases, ensuring timely feedback collection and resolution by demonstrating action‐oriented execution, effective stakeholder coordination, and strong organizational skills.Collaborate with Publishing, Digital Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery, balancing stakeholder needs, building trust‐based relationships,
and fostering effective cross‐functional communication.Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively propose solutions to keep delivery on track, applying data analysis and quantitative reasoning, sound project management practices, and a results‐driven mindset.Maintain project documentation such as style guides, page plans, and templates, supporting operational excellence, process consistency, and compliance with publishing standards and workflows.Manage communication with external suppliers where required and ensure adherence to project briefs, directing work effectively, building productive partnerships, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines, requirements, and quality expectations.Experience, Skills & QualificationsEssential: Degree‐level education or equivalent experience.Strong organizational and project coordination skills.Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Desirable: Experience in ELT publishing or education sector.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience working with editorial processes such as copyediting and proofreading.Knowledge of publishing workflows, particularly print and digital production.Experience working with external vendors or suppliers.Willingness to learn new systems and processes.At Springer Nature, we value the diversity of our teams and work to build an inclusive culture, where people are treated fairly and can bring their differences to work and thrive.
