Engineering internships and Co-op assignments may be applied to experience requiremen- ts.Must possess some knowledge of aircraft certification processes and substantiation techniqu- es.Must have strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office progra- ms.Must be familiar with aircraft mechanical/structural design processes, materials, fabrication methods and aerospace hardwa- re.Must be organized and an effective individual contributor,



presenting good communication skills and a professional appearance.Preferr- ed:Knowledge of aircraft interi- orsExperience as a certification engineer, design engineer, or substantiation engineer.Responsibiliti- es:Develop certification plans, compliance checklists, conformity inspection pl- ansDevelop substantiation reports and test plans / reports for flammability and cabin safe- ty.Draft certification presentations for all meetings and manage small ST / PMA projects for certification requirements including data deliverables from suppliers, and coordinating responses to inquines, significant certification sues and alwortunes concer- ns.Identify applicable airworthiness requirements for proposed major design chang- es.Support the relationship with FAA regulatory agencies via project presentatio- ns.Interface with customers, suppliers and other project stakeholders pertaining to certification of modification projectsComments/Special Instructions
