We are hiring a Senior DI Modernization Engineer to build and modernize scalable backend services using cloud-native technologies.
You'll work on high‐availability platforms, APIs, and distributed systems while collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
Build production‐ready services using Elixir.
Develop REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
Implement Kafka‐based messaging solutions.
Deploy and support applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps initiatives.
Apply secure software development practices throughout the SDLC.
Participate in architecture discussions and modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver high‐quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
2+ years of hands‐on experience with Elixir.
Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
Strong experience with:
AWS
Docker
Kafka
REST APIs
GraphQL
gRPC
DataDog
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Understanding of secure API development and application security principles.
Familiarity with AI‐assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
Strong problem‐solving and collaboration skills.
