We are looking for a Labor Relations Business Partner who can partner closely with the business to drive strategic people initiatives, shape a productive and compliant work environment, and support organizational transformation in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
In this role, you will combine business partnering, customer management, and labor strategy to ensure not only compliance, but also sustainable employee relations, strong culture, and business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies and action plansShape and evolve a forward-looking labor relations strategy aligned with transformation and cultural prioritiesAnticipate risks and opportunities in the labor environment with a proactive, not reactive, approachLead and coordinate labor-related processes, including collective agreements, organizational changes, and customer consultationsBuild and sustain constructive, transparent, and compliant relationships with employee representativesEnsure full alignment with Mexican labor legislation and PMI's strict compliance and integrity standardsInfluence and align multiple partners in a complex, matrix organizationCoach leaders on employee relations, people management,



and organizational effectivenessEnable leadership capability to navigate labor and cultural dynamics effectivelyContribute beyond labor relations to broader People & Culture priorities (e.G. engagement, organizational health, capability building)Support key transformation and culture initiatives within the plantExperienceWho We're Looking For5–7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, or HR Generalist rolesExposure to unionized environments is a strong plusExperience in manufacturing or sophisticated operational environments preferredSkills & CapabilitiesProven ability to operate autonomously, prioritize, and manage complexityStrategic mindset with ability to connect business needs with people implicationsHigh level of integrity and ethical judgment, with strict adherence to compliance standardsStrong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadersAbility to operate across a broad People & Culture agenda, beyond labor relationsHigh level of self-awareness and learning agilityLanguageFluency in Spanish and English is requiredWhy Join PMI?
