Position Overview Objective of the position: This role will support the development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of safety‐critical fastening and manufacturing processes that directly impact vehicle quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and suppliers to ensure safety‐critical torque applications are properly designed, installed, documented, and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.Responsibilities Support Safety Critical Tool projects for all DTNA Truck Plants, including tooling implementation, torque process validation, installation follow‐up, and documentation updates.Coordinate equipment procurement activities including specifications, RFQs, supplier reviews, quotes, installation, and buy‐off activities.Apply project management skills and work closely with plants, suppliers, contractors, Maintenance, Quality, Operations, and Corporate Manufacturing Engineering to coordinate projects through completion.Maintain and update Safety Critical Tool databases, documentation, process records, and project trackers.Participate in design reviews, drawing/specification reviews, and manufacturing readiness activities to identify safety‐critical requirements, DS characteristics, tooling needs, and process risks before plant implementation.Travel to manufacturing plants as required to support launches, equipment installations, and project execution.Analyze manufacturing data and create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support project decisions and leadership updates.Support training and communication efforts related to safety‐critical tooling and processes.Identify, analyze, and recommend opportunities to improve safety, quality, torque traceability, process reliability, efficiency,
