Trim Engineer-Entry Level Job DescriptionEducation Last Semester of Engineering, Textiles, Industrial Design, etc. (or other suitable technical degree preferred).
Experience None to 1 year job related experience (Preferable).
Technical Skills Willing to develop ability on Seat Patterning – Able to complete seat patterns Understanding and applying one or more basic problem‐solving techniques (e.g., BEP, Kepner–Tregoe, Six Sigma, etc.) to help solve a real‐world issue Knowledge of manufacturing process and requirements of a Trim Cover Understanding and basic operation of seat equipment used in trim cover manufacturing (NC Cutter, sewing machines, etc.) Trim cover sewing safety requirements within a trim cover Standard components used within a trim cover Knowledge of material specifications and guidelines (cloth, leather,



vinyl, etc.) Understanding of 2 D component and product drawings Change management and BOM control Proficiency in trim cover development from a 2 D or 3 D information source (e.g., drawings or CAD) Basic understanding of 3 D CAD models and vehicle environments Soft Skills Accountable ownership Customer care Willing to learn Time management Planning Self‐motivated Able to work in a challenging environment Additional English: Able to keep mid‐level conversation (must) Office based at Queretaro (must) Able to travel (must) Primary Location Tech Center Queretaro #J-*****-Ljbffr
