Our Hermosillo office is a key hub in our cross-border operations, working side by side with our U.S. headquarters on high-impact projects.The opportunityWe are seeking a driven and technically sharp Electrical Designer to join our MEP team in Hermosillo.
You will contribute to real projects from day one — developing construction documents, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines, and growing toward a senior or project engineer role.
This position offers direct exposure to U.S. project standards and international best practices, putting your career on an accelerated track.What you will doDesign power distribution, lighting, emergency systems,
and low-voltage infrastructure for MEP projects across various scales and sectorsDevelop full construction document packages in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, riser diagrams, and electrical floor plansPerform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and photometric studiesCoordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams throughout design and construction phasesEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA, NOM, and applicable local codes for projects in Mexico and the United StatesParticipate in design reviews, client coordination calls, and construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits)Collaborate actively with engineers at the U.S. headquarters and contribute to cross-border project deliveryWhat we are looking forBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a closely related field3–8 years of experience in electrical design within an MEP consulting or engineering firmProficiency in Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD; experience with BIM coordination is a plusknowledge of NEC, NFPA, and/or NOM electrical standardsStrong understanding of panel schedules, one-line diagrams, conduit routing, and equipment coordinationAbility to manage multiple deadlines and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teamsBilingual (Spanish / English) — strong English reading and writing skills required for U.S. project coordination
