What is your role?
As a Polymer Materials Engineer, you will support the development, qualification, and implementation of polymer materials used in optical connectivity products.You will work closely with cross‐functional integral teams to identify material solutions, drive product innovation, support manufacturing processes, and lead projects from concept through production implementation.Requisition Number: *****Key ResponsibilitiesLead the evaluation, testing, and qualification of polymer materials to ensure product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost objectives are achieved.Support new product development through material selection, validation activities, prototype evaluations, and collaboration with product and process engineering teams.Manage materials and product development projects, coordinating timelines, resources, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.Provide technical support to manufacturing operations by troubleshooting material‐related issues, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Experiences/Education – RequiredBachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Experience working with polymer materials in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of polymer materials, including thermoplastics, elastomers,
