****Main objective of the position**:Experienced and highly skilled Senior IT Asset Specialist responsible for managing functions within the IT Vendor Management Office, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor performance and relationship management.

**What you'll be doing**- Develop and implement IT asset lifecycle management strategies and processes.
- Analyze asset usage and performance to identify opportunities for optimization and cost saving, partnering with system owners to implement.
- Manage asset management improvement opportunities.
- Track and analyze the company's IT assets to ensure they're used efficiently and are compliant with software licenses.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure IT assets are accurately inventoried.
- Work closely with the IT department to understand technology needs and assets.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of IT assets.When necessary, partnering with corporate procurement based on buying policy.
- Manage the disposal and replacement of obsolete or redundant IT assets.
- Provide regular reports on asset performance, cost, and lifecycle status.
- Provide asset and license management at a minimum for Mobility, Print, Software, Servers, and PCs and/or governance of assets.




- Manage vendor audits.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.
- Maintain Reports, dashboards for visibility into IT Vendor Performance & Compliance- Facilitate the development and implement asset management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
**What you'll bring**- Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field.Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related is desirable- At least 5 years of experience in IT asset management or related role- Fluent english communication skills- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licenses- Strong knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiation principles- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills- Familiarity with IT asset management tools and software- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of IT asset management best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and work with various IT systems and tools.
- Experience with IT vendor management tools and technologies, such as IT vendor management software, inventory management systems, and license management systems.
- ITIL including CMDB or other relevant certifications.
