We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven General Manager to lead our sales-driven operations in Africa.The GM will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, managing sales teams, growing market share, and ensuring efficient operations across departments.The role requires a strong understanding of the African market, leadership in sales performance, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer baseManage and lead the sales team (including Van Sales, Key Accounts, Retail/Wholesale)Set and monitor monthly and annual sales targets across all territoriesIdentify new business opportunities and partnershipsLead key negotiations with major clients and distributorsEnsure excellent customer relationship management and after-sales serviceOperational ManagementOversee supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and product availabilityEnsure operational processes support sales growth and customer satisfactionMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurementTeam Leadership & HRBuild, train,



and retain high-performing sales and operations teamsEnsure effective communication and collaboration between departmentsEvaluate team performance and manage KPIsFinance & ReportingMonitor P&L;, control costs, and ensure profitabilityPrepare financial and operational reports for upper managementManage pricing, discounts, and promotions in line with profitability goalsCompliance & Market IntelligenceEnsure full compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and company policiesAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs**Requirements**:Minimum 5-10 years of experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or GM roleStrong background in sales, preferably in FMCG / Food / DistributionBachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)Excellent leadership, sales, and negotiation skillsDeep knowledge of African markets and cultural adaptabilityFluency in French.English is a plus**Company Profile**:
