POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards in compliance with customer specifications, industry regulations, and company requirements. This role involves the assessment, analysis, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure the consistent production of high-quality components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components

Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and testing.

Review product designs, specifications, and production methods to ensure quality standards are integrated from the beginning. Work with engineering and production teams to optimize production methods and quality standards.

Conduct root cause analysis of quality problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Collaborate with clients and external partners to ensure product quality and resolve quality concerns promptly.

Supervise and mentor quality technicians, providing guidance on testing, inspections, and reporting.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff and quality technicians on quality standards and best practices.

Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.

Prepare and present quality reports to management,



highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally within the HVAC, thermal systems, or assembly component industries.

Experience in supervising quality technicians and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, and other relevant industry standards.

Experience with statistical analysis, process control techniques, and root cause analysis methods

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.

Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.

The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.

Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.

Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

Travel to different office or plants locations, client sites,



or conferences may be necessary.
