The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating the school bus according to a set daily schedule, as well as following all State laws and school district policies. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment within the bus by enforcing rules of conduct and responding to emergencies.

School Bus Driver Qualifications

Current CDL / Bus Driver permit and previous work experience is preferred





Ability to qualify for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit

District 211 will provide paid training for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit, to outstanding applicants.

Immediately Available Positions

Immediate openings for School Bus Drivers with a valid CDL license with no restrictions and a school bus permit

Miniumum of 4 hours per day up to 7.5 hours per day

We offer 205 work days per school year
