- Description & RequirementsA Day In The Life Includes:
- Engineers on the front-end team will typically spend their day working on 1 to 3 long-term projects.
These projects include augmenting Infor Nexus's front-end framework to incorporate features and functionality that align with Nexus's development roadmap and strategic values.
- Collaboration with the Engineering, Product, and Quality Assurance teams to discuss current workstream topics and to coordinate any production issues or bug fixes that may need priority attention.
- Mentoring is a frequent activity of the front-end team and occurs on an individual basis or by fielding questions raised by the Infor Nexus development community.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in software/web development/engineering.
- Project development and/or management experience.
- Prior experience working directly with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and at least one JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, etc.)
- Understanding of software engineering and programming fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts with peers in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SaaS or other CSS preprocessor extensions.
- Working knowledge of Java and relational databases (such as DB2, MSSQL Server, etc.)
- Experience with web performance optimization (WPO)
