Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Program Management or Business Administration
- High level of analytical ability
- High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office Tools
- Ability to lead general teams with members in North America, Europe, and China-Experience in automotive industry
- Preferred in Automotive Component Purchasing
- Strong technical Background
- Preferred experience in Program Management or EngineeringKey Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the BWI Material Cost Reduction Program (MCIP)
- Lead the MCIP Steering Committee-Coordinate with Purchasing managers for Price to Price and resourcing efforts-Coordinate with Engineering for VA/VE projects-Help drive VA/VE projects forward through the evaluation process and to implementation
- Track MCIP adherence to Metrics
- Form teams to facilitate cost improvement ideas and strategies
- Supervise regional MCIP resources
