PROCESS ENGINEER
YOUR ROLE
As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new and existing programs. This role focuses on process planning, project execution, assembly and automation systems, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. The idóneo candidate demonstrates strong leadership, effective communication, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and release cost and timing estimates for new manufacturing processes and projects.
- Create and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) for new programs and process implementations.
- Support the design, development, and launch of assembly and automation processes.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to process development and manufacturing requirements.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain process documentation, work instructions, standards, and engineering records.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, suppliers, and project teams.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership while communicating project status, risks, and solutions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company housekeeping, environmental, and safety standards.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process-related issues.
- Participate in equipment validation, process qualification, and production readiness activities.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly systems, and industrial automation.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering concepts.
- Ability to interpret and analyze electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience applying GD&T; principles in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Experience creating and managing technical documentation and project-related records.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Commitment to maintaining safety and housekeeping standards within a manufacturing environment.
