The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating the school bus according to a set daily schedule, as well as following all State laws and school district policies. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment within the bus by enforcing rules of conduct and responding to emergencies.

School Bus Driver Qualifications

- Current CDL / Bus Driver permit and previous work experience is preferred
- Ability to qualify for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit




- District 211 will provide paid training for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit, to outstanding applicants.

Immediately Available Positions

- Immediate openings for School Bus Drivers with a valid CDL license with no restrictions and a school bus permit
- Miniumum of 4 hours per day up to 7.5 hours per day
- We offer 205 work days per school year
