The Celebrate Recovery and addiction specialist will work with the homeless youth to help them overcome their addictions.
As these young people begin to leave their addictions their odds of getting off the streets and staying off the streets go up dramatically.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop individualized assessment and treatment planningAddiction counseling and supportRelapse prevention strategiesSpiritual guidance and healingEducate the community about addictionFollow-up and after care with youthSkill RequirementsAddiction counseling experienceAbility to connect with homeless youth, showing genuine care,



and understandingEffectively respond to crisis situations and substance abuseWork closely with other professional (social workers, counselors, medical staff)Integrate faith-based principles into addiction recoveryUnderstand the spiritual needs of homeless youthEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceExperience in mental health ministry preferredMission experience and/or cross-cultural experience a plusThis is a support based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
