BENEBION is expanding its high-energy irradiation operations with new X-ray capacity while continuing to operate and optimize its gamma facilities.
We are seeking aMid-Level Technical Buyerresponsible for the procurement of industrial equipment and engineered systems for both X-ray and Gamma plants.This role focuses onhigh-energy electrical systems, refrigeration and cooling systems, power transformation and distribution, material handling systems, civil/industrial infrastructure components, and vendor fiscal compliance management.This is atechnical-commercial control rolewith financial discipline and regulatory rigor, reporting directly to the CFO.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Procurement (CAPEX & Critical Systems)High-voltage electrical equipmentTransformers and power distribution systemsIndustrial refrigeration and thermal management systemsConveyor systems and material handling equipmentShielding-related construction materialsIndustrial mechanical and structural componentsInterpret technical specifications and drawings in collaboration with engineering teamsEnsure equipment compliance with applicable standards and technical requirementsIdentify, qualify, and evaluate national and international suppliersConduct structured technical-commercial bid comparisonsLead negotiation of pricing, payment terms, warranties, and service agreementsStructure contracts to minimize delivery, performance, and integration riskEvaluate total cost of ownership (TCO)Fiscal Compliance & Vendor Risk ManagementEnsure vendors meet all fiscal and regulatory compliance requirements under Mexican lawVerify and maintain: Valid tax registration (RFC)
