We are looking for a Regional Category Manager Spare Parts and Services to develop and execute regional category strategies that optimize cost, quality, availability, and supplier performance. This role drives cross-functional collaboration, manages strategic supplier relationships, identifies sourcing opportunities, and ensures the timely delivery of spare parts and services to support business objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for Spare Parts & Services, ensuring the best Total Cost of Ownership
(TCO)
while maintaining quality, availability, and operational performance.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for spare parts, equipment and MRO materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, lead times, delivery terms, contracts, and service level agreements.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality, reliability, or functionality.
Source, evaluate, qualify, and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks and increase competitiveness.
Maintain accurate purchasing master data in ERP systems (pricing, supplier information, lead times, sourcing data, etc).
Provide sourcing support for urgent requirements, supply shortages and escalation cases to ensure business continuity.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through KPIs related to quality, cost,



delivery, responsiveness and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Global Procurement teams to align sourcing strategies and business priorities.
Participate in general procurement initiatives to standardize processes, optimize supplier management, and improve procurement efficiency across the region.
Drive supplier relationship management and support long-term strategic partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, or Purchasing preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Technical knowledge of Spare Parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), industrial equipment, or indirect materials.
Understanding of SMT and THT manufacturing processes, industrial maintenance or manufacturing engineering
is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation, analytical and commercial acumen with a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset.
Proficiency in SAP (R/3 or S/4HANA) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills.
