Qualifications5 years' experience in Automotive industry, Purchasing, Quality, Program or operations background.Technical knowledge of one or several purchased commodities (chrome parts, metal parts, injected plastic parts, fasteners, paint, resin, glue, process means, logistic...)Automotive integral requirements, good command of EnglishRigor, perseverance, influence, teamworkLeadership and ability to animate a networkCommunication and negotiation skillsEnglish mandatory/ country language is a plusActivitiesContribute to the selection of new suppliers in accordance with quality and purchasing strategiesSupport in the evaluation of (audit) new potential suppliers following purchasing strategyPrepare for and participates in Sourcing Committees (on behalf of country SDL), provide motivating recommendations, and prevent incorrect sourcing decisions2.0 Contribute to the development and improvement of suppliersSupports SDL to manage supplier quality progress plans to achieve Exterior & Lighting quality objectives and support purchasing commodity strategyEvaluate supplier performance over serial life (with the support of the plant), manage the audits of suppliers when necessary (e.g. VDA 6.3 Technical audits)Communicate & train suppliers on Exterior & Lighting and OEM requirements as part of the supplier development planSupport SDL to manage the actions quality improvement of selected suppliers:
"Suppliers Continuous Improvement" process3.0 Support plants in the reduction of Demerits & CNQ for suppliersSupport plant SQE in the management of supplier non-qualitySupport on ensuring that Exterior & Lighting supplier quality processes and standards are followed by OP plants and SILS: NCN management, escalation L0, cost recovery, re-qualifications audits, quality key suppliers' management, incoming inspection, etc....Train and coach plant SQE when necessaryContribute to active communication and process improvement between supplier and OP teams4.0 Support Program management during the launch phaseProvide assistance when Program Supplier (SE) have difficulty in obtaining APQP deliverables on time and in the right qualitySupport Program teams in supplier conflict resolution concerning agreements, specifications, customer requirements and accountabilities5.0 Contribute to the development and improvement of supplier quality processes standards and training under guidelines of the country SDLShare knowledge and experience inside Exterior & Lighting, prepare Lessons Learned and good practices based on the experience pf supplier quality management.Ensure communication of these documents in the Exterior & Lighting Lessons Learned database.Support the country SDL in training on supplier quality processes and standards, and train Exterior é Lighting relevant teams (SQE, SE, buyers, ...)Keep abreast of industry changes.Provide inputs, ideas, and recommendations to continuously improve supplier quality processes, tools and standards.
