Advisory AnalystDepartment:AdvisoryEmployment Type:Permanent - Full TimeLocation:Mexico City, MexicoDescriptionAurora Energy Research is looking for people with passion for the energy sector to join our Advisory team in Mexico.
We are seeking recent graduates, and prior professional experience is not necessarily required for this role.Based in Mexico (CDMX), you will contribute to the firm, by developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision making.
This is a client‐facing advisory role, where your work will directly support strategic, financial, and investment decisions made by senior stakeholders.You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesising conclusions into clear, actionable recommendations with an interest in structured problem-solving and advisory work.Successful candidates will work in a dynamic, and intellectually stimulating, yet supportive environment.
They will enjoy autonomy, the opportunity to substantially influence major decisions in the energy sector, and to grow into industry experts.The position suits a recent graduate of a bachelor's or master's programme who is motivated to build a career in energy advisory and consulting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision-makingWork closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model resultsContribute to Aurora's product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilitiesEngage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirementsCommunicate and present findings to clientsSkills,
