Finance & Operations Manager — MexicoLocation:Mexico City, Mexico (on-site)Type:Full-timeAbout OutpostOutpost is cross-border commerce infrastructure, built by veterans of Revolut, Adyen, Airwallex, and Wayflyer.
We operate dedicated local entities across 58 jurisdictions, giving enterprise merchants access to local acquiring, alternative payment methods and full tax compliance through a single integration.
We handle the local complexity so merchants can focus on growth.We operate a dedicated legal entity in Mexico and are growing fast.
This is a foundational hire for our Mexican operations.
️ The roleYou will be the on-the-ground owner of Outpost's Mexican entity, responsible for keeping it compliant, financially healthy, and operationally sharp.
This is a hands-on role that spans accounting, tax compliance, and day-to-day operations.
You will work closely with our global ops and finance teams, and with external advisors including our Mexican legal counsel.What you'll doFinance & Tax ComplianceManage relationships with local advisors, tax advisors and external auditorsMonitor SAT regulatory updates and flag implications for Outpost and our merchantsSupport transfer pricing documentation and intercompany compliance with the global finance team⚙️ OperationsOversee merchant onboarding processes for Mexican transactions,
coordinating with our global ops teamManage local banking relationships and cash management for the entitySupport commercial operations: contracts, local vendor management, regulatory correspondenceAct as the primary local point of contact for regulators, auditors, and banking partnersLiaise with PSP partners operating in Mexico on operational and compliance mattersWhat we're looking for5+ years of experience in accounting and tax compliance in Mexico, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial servicesDeep working knowledge of Mexico's tax regimeHands-on experience with Mexico's electronic invoicing system and SAT portalsExperience with CNBV or Banco de México regulatory frameworks is a strong advantageComfortable operating in a fast-moving, internationally distributed teamFluent in Spanish; working English required for communication with the global teamSomeone who is energised by building, not just maintaining.
