JOB DESCRIPTIONJob SummaryJOB DESCRIPTION The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the sustaining activities of Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists.Will provide direct support to our manufacturing teams, analyze manufacturing issues, report findings back to the electrical engineering team, and support implementation of solutions.ResponsibilitiesSustain computer room air conditioning (CRAC) productsCollaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams.Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points.Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to verify design requirementsDesign/develop/create/review/revise 2D and 3D revision-controlled CAD for electro-mechanical assemblies, point‐to‐point wire harnesses, wire routings, wire and fuse sizing, connection drawings, customer-facing electrical diagrams (schematics) using a Product Data Management (PDM) tool.Develop/create/review/revise bills of material (BOM) and product definitions in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool to support re-use of existing designs, manufacturing, quality, and serviceDevelop solutions to complex problems where little or no precedence exists - the use of ingenuity and creativity is regularly requiredParticipate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changesImplement product changes to solve field issues,
