The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the accounting operations of a Retirement Community during a period of significant transformation and growth.This is a hands‐on accounting position for a highly motivated professional who thrives in fast‐paced environments, takes ownership of deliverables, and consistently meets deadlines.The adecuado candidate is someone who built a strong accounting foundation early in their career, preferably through experience in a public accounting firm or small accounting practice, and has since developed solid full‐cycle accounting experience.This individual must be proactive, detail‐oriented, and committed to delivering accurate work on time without requiring constant follow‐up.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full‐cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month‐end closePrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedulesAnalyze financial transactions and identify discrepancies or unusual variancesSupport monthly, quarterly, and year‐end close processesMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with financial statement preparation and reporting activitiesSupport internal and external auditsCollaborate with team members to resolve accounting issues and improve processesEnsure all assigned deliverables are completed accurately and within established deadlinesEscalate risks, blockers,
