Responsibilities Implement product engineering initiatives efficiently, in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and specifications.Collaborate with general design centers to ensure new product launches and current product enhancements are integrated into specifications and procedures.Work with all plant departments to identify root causes and provide solutions for problems related to design, quality, suppliers, products, and processes.Ensure released information for manufacture aligns with global design standards and complies with industry requirements (AHRI, ASME, PED, ETL & UL).
Lead new product introductions on the product engineering side.Account for the effective implementation of engineering changes and maintain the reliability, update, and maintenance of master data, bills of materials, and engineering drawings.Find solutions to challenging issues that support business directives and customer needs.Participate in Kaizen events.Provide technical assistance to the plant in areas of Materials, Quality Control, Engineering, and Safety.Propose and implement cost‐reduction projects to achieve plant objectives.Propose, evaluate, and implement product improvements.Evaluate material technical specifications and standards for deviation proposals.Maintain an understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles,
