- Develop STA point of view with Technical Experts and affected regions on manufacturing feasibility risk assessment and readiness for interior commodity manufacturing.
- Support and execute launch preparation with the suppliers through and including Phase 3 PPAP.
- Knowledge in manufacturing, Interior Commodity preferred, not required (e.g. Injection Molding, Foam in Place, Vac Forming, IMG, IMGL, Paint, Press Bonding, welding, stamping, assembly, etc.)- Collaborative minded with ability to work within a team- Willing to travel to support program launches- Lead development of manufacturing feasibility plans for new parents, new technology, and high-risk commodities.
- Review quality performance and evaluate enhancements for continuous improvement in interior commodity manufacturing- Drive implementation of robust manufacturing quality control strategies- Provide support to Site STA, engaging supplier's Global Management team to address systemic quality, capacity, and manufacturing issues.
- Support the development and maintenance of interior commodity manufacturing standards- Drive robust sourcing risk assessments on suppliers- Collaborate with peers in STA, Product Development, and Purchasing- Work with product engineering on design and engineering specifications (ES)



to address feasibility issues- Provide guidance to purchasing for outsourced components/assemblies related to interior commodity manufacturing process and testing procedures- Coordinate efforts regarding FMA, SCCAF, pass through characteristics and quality metrics with cross-functional team- Develop integral lessons learned and prevent recurrence****You'll**have**...**- Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 3 - 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing, quality and supplier management.
- Knowledge in manufacturing, Interior Commodity Preferred (e.g. Injection Molding, Foam in Place, Vac Forming, IMG, IMGL, Paint, Press Bonding, welding, stamping, assembly, etc.).
