## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an **EH&S; Engineer** located in **Tijuana.
**Reporting to the **EH&S; Manager**, the **EH&S; Engineer** role involves:**What a typical day looks like:*** Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs* Examine plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
* Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Define requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds and installs or directs installation of safety devices on machinery.
* Conduct or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency acknowledge, safety policies,



laws and practices.
* Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
* Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.
* Responsible for legal and environmental compliance with municipal, state, and federal government.
* Experience in medical devices Industries**The experience we're looking to add to our team:*** Intermediate English.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Certified as a lead auditor in ISO ***** and ISO *****.
* Implementation and monitoring of EHS KPIs (incidents, illnesses, compliance with work plans).
* In charge of identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
* Serves as internal consultant to business units on ergonomics, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters.
* Audit business units and have experience in government audits.
* Interfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters.
* Compiles and submits safety reports.
* Administers workers' compensation, OSHA **** log and return to work program.
