Role Description The Planning Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the EDOMEX. This role is responsible for leading planning activities, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation to support operational and strategic goals. The Planning Manager will analyze data, prepare reports, and create planning models that help optimize timelines, budgets, and inventory levels. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring performance against plans, resolving variances, and recommending corrective actions. The role also involves implementing process improvements, maintaining documentation, and supporting leadership with insights for decision-making.
Planning & Operations
Lead the end-to-end production and supply planning process across manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain production plans aligned with customer demand, inventory targets, and plant capacity.
Drive the S&OP; / SIOP process to balance demand, supply, service, and financial objectives.
Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory health, capacity utilization, and service performance KPIs.
Coordinate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure execution alignment.
Support new product introductions, phase-ins/phase-outs, and engineering changes from a planning perspective.




Optimize inventory levels while maintaining target customer service levels.
Lead planning parameter reviews including safety stock, lead times, MOQ, and replenishment strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supply chain processes.
Lead or support implementation and optimization of ERP/MRP/APS systems.
Improve planning visibility, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
Standardize planning processes and establish best practices across operations.
Utilize data analysis and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
Lead, coach, and develop the Planning team to build organizational capability and succession readiness.
Establish clear performance expectations and development plans for team members.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
~7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Material Planning, or Operations Planning within a manufacturing environment.
~Production & capacity planning
~ MRP / ERP systems, SAP Preferred
~ Inventory management
~ Bilingual English / Spanish

Experience in packaging, consumer goods, FMCG, or high-mix manufacturing environments.
Experience managing planning across multiple plants or business units.
