This is an execution-focused position within the visibility function. The Track & Trace Engineer is responsible for detecting missing updates, validating load progress, documenting accurate information and escalating risks early. The role works closely with dispatch, planning, CSR, carrier operations and drivers to maintain clean load visibility throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

· Track active shipments from pickup appointment through delivery and empty release using TMS, ELD, telematics, carrier portals and direct communication channels.

· Update load milestones, notes, check calls and timestamps in the TMS according to internal visibility standards.

· Validate pickup, loading, departure, border crossing, customs hold, arrival, delivery and empty status information.

· Identify missing updates, route deviations, appointment risks, communication gaps and incomplete documentation.

· Escalate exceptions to the Track & Trace Coordinator, dispatcher, CSR or Control Tower Lead with clear facts and supporting details.

· Follow established tracking cadences for priority loads, at-risk shipments, customer-sensitive freight and after-hours coverage.





Maintain clean records that support customer communication, KPI reporting, service recovery and internal audit requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

· 6 months to 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, traffic, dispatch support, tracking or customer service.

· English proficiency for status updates and interaction with U.S. based stakeholders.

· Ability to work with TMS platforms, spreadsheets and communication tools with high attention to detail.

· Strong written communication and ability to document concise, fact-based operational notes.

Availability to work assigned coverage schedules, including possible evening or weekend support depending on operational needs.

Availability to work rotating shifts:
Mon-Fri: 6:00 to 15:00, Sat or Sun: 8:00 to 15:00
Mon-Fri: 15:00 to 22:30, Sat or Sun: 15:00 to 22:30
Mon-Fri: 22:00 to 6:00, Sat or Sun: 22:00 to 6:00

Home office is available on Saturdays or Sundays

Sueldo: $16,000.00 - $20,000.00 al mes
