Job Summary
The Sr.
Analyst, Payroll Tax ensures company compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
This role manages end-to-end tax compliance, reconciles accounts, files returns, and oversees third-party payroll processors to mitigate financial risk.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Oversee tax filings: Partner with our third-party provider to ensure precise federal, state and local quarterly and annual filings.
Lead year‑end processing: drive the balancing, auditing and execution of year‑end W-2 and W-2c forms.
- Research, resolve and respond to tax notices, penalty assessments, and amendments
- Prepares and carries out initial investigations into company and individual tax issues
- Execute monthly and quarterly accounting routines
- Help develop and maintain process flow and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents
- Maintain understanding of payroll compliance issues
- Manage tax issues (using ADP Smart Compliance)
- Support ad hoc data requests
- Maintain internal controls for payroll team
What Matters to SABIC
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited university or equivalent experience accepted
- Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll tax, payroll processing or payroll accounting
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Good quantitative, analytical, conceptual and planning skills
- Cross‑functional experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly skilled with computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power
Point, Outlook
- Fluent in English language/submit all resumes in English
Eligibility Requirements
- You must be 18 years or older
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work for SABIC in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
