**About the Role**
**What You Will Do**
- Defining, testing, and troubleshooting material and process-related properties
- Complete test requests using the available laboratory test equipment, additional company labs, or outside labs when test equipment is not available.
- Identify and analyze material cost saving opportunities in current or pending products.
- Participate in component problem analysis and resolution
- Technical writing of work instructions and test reports
- Work with other Materials Laboratory staff to ensure that the laboratory equipment is kept in good working order and calibrated
- Keep the Materials laboratory organized and maintain good cleanliness.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs.

- Knowledge basic electricity
- A thorough understanding of best practice laboratory procedures and the use of laboratory equipment such as
- Experience in characterization techniques such as FTIR, DSC, mechanical test equipment, goniometer, couloscope, and viscometers is a plus, not all required
- Knowledge of proper handling of chemicals and materials is required
- Experience in problem solving
- Microsoft office
- Good working understanding of Minitab
- 2 years of experience in the similar position
- 50% English
- Bachelor's or engineering degree
- Experience in basic analysis on materials characterization
- Good reporting skills

- Knowledge of proper handling of chemicals and materials is required.
- Knowledge on handling of pallet jack and cut materials.
- Knowledge of usage of electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of advance techniques of materials characterization and interpretation
- Advance analysis and reporting skills
- Good communication and team working skills
- Basic on working with CFT
