Job Purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a 'dynamic and results oriented' person to join as a Foreign Trade Analyst, in activities such as ensuring the correct Import/Export of materials and fixed assets, complying with current customs legislation, as well as obtaining the applicable benefits and ensuring compliance with obligations.
Carry out maritime, air and land export operations, review and provide information to customs agents in a timely manner within the legal scope, as well as the administration and control of pediments.
Carry out the processing of virtual operations with clients and suppliers in due time and form, always within the legal scope, carry out air imports through the different customs offices, monitor imports through hand carriers, as well as the administration and control of pediments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the validity of temporarily imported materials.




- Keep track of regime changes of expiring balances.
- Review discharges for Annex 24 purposes.
- Review and approve customs agents' expense accounts.
- Oversee import and export operations (Land, Sea, Air)
- Analysis and Issuance of Certificates of Origin (Mexico/FTA's)
- Review of Metrics with Mexican Customs Brokers.
- Generation of export documents.
- Packing exports, elaboration of letters, request of fiscal invoices.
- Review of inbond referrals.
- User support for export queries
- Virtual operations of direct/indirect suppliers
- Digital file control of export pediments
- Direct/indirect virtual operations
- Control of physical/electronic filing of pediments and proof of delivery of virtual goods
- Control of spreadsheets and value manifestations
- Classification of part numbers with Customs Broker.
- Review of weekly catalogue of fractions.
- Tracking of air imports and hand carriers.
- Control of sub-assemblers and/or external warehouses (Registration, letters of endorsement, SAT notice).
- Participate actively and enthusiastically in DE&I; activities and plant engagement.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in International Business and Commerce.
- Time of experience in similar position: Minimum 5 years in similar position.
- Technical knowledge required: IMMEX knowledge, Customs Law, FTA's knowledge, RRNA, 8th Rules, NAFTA, ALADI, TLCUE, Central America, Inventory Control (Annex 24,



Annex 31), Tariff Classification, Dealing with Mexican Customs Brokers, Air, Land and Maritime Imports/Exports, Special Operations, Virtual, ERP QAD/SAP.
