Your Team ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an experienced Analytics Client Service Specialist to join our Client Coverage organization in Mexico City/Monterrey.The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that providefirst tiersupport for our clients around the world.
Team membersare responsible forresponding to a wide variety ofmethodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on both analytical and benchmark products.
Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional travel may berequiredfor on-site presentations or trainings.
Client Service Specialists work closely with account managers and consultants to develop andmaintainclient relationships.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodology, with emphasis on complex L2 questions requiring quantitative and methodological expertise across Barra's multi-asset class risk framework.Participate in developing client relationships through proactive follow up on issues raised by clients.Analyze market performance and data for our clients on a reactive and a pro-active basis.Maintain relationships by ensuring relevant product and model information is shared with clients.Provide client feedback to the Coverage, Product Management, Research and Data groups.Keep up with current events and trends in the marketplace.Own end-to-end case management from intake to resolution, ensuring adherence to SLA targets, escalation protocols, and client communication standards.Mentor and develop junior team members (Analysts and Associates) through regular coaching, knowledge transfer, and structured feedback.Contribute to the team knowledge base by creating and updating articles, leading formal knowledge-sharing sessions, and promoting client self-service adoption.Accountable for translating AI capability into team-level impact — designing, building, and deploying AI-assisted solutions that improve service efficiency and team productivity.Maintain consistent personal AI tool adoption embedded in daily workflow, serving as a practitioner role model for responsible and effective AI integration within Client Service.Your skills and experience that will help you excelSpecific Knowledge/SkillsStrong analytic, quantitative, andproblem-solvingskills.Demonstrated understanding of financial topics which should include some of the following: Modern Portfolio Theory, Equity and Portfolio Construction, Optimization, Cap Asset Pricing models, Multi Factor Risk Models, Market Risk,
