POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain detailed general ledger records for an IMMEX company working for a U.S. parent.
- Responsible for month end close and preparing appropriate journal entries. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare month end results in the Global consolidation software for Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow as well as other financial KPI’s.
- Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Build, maintain, and verify standard cost data on all company parts.
- Ensure accounting procedures are within Global and Regional guidelines.
- Lead task force on cost controlling & quoting.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies and customs. Ensure filings to regulatory agencies are accurate and complete by required deadlines.
- Be actively involved in the preparation and evaluation of fiscal obligations for income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
- Coordinate and oversee semi-annual physical inventories.




- Conduct employee performance appraisals and disciplinary actions, as required.
- Supportive of Integral Activities as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7 years of progressive accounting/controller experience.
- Knowledge of Mexico and maquiladora accounting laws, practices, and principles.
- 4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working in a maquiladora environment working with a U.S. parent.
- Proven experience with cost accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
