Deliver sales booked through single/multiple lines quotations activities

Development of good working relationships and knowledge of tools with vendor contacts to obtain timely answers and meet turn time goals. Proactively leverage vendor relationships to win critical and competitive large sales opportunities and improve margin goals.

Collaborate with Product teams, Sales teams, and integral quoting teams to deliver high performance results for assigned region. Follow up with sales teams or directly with customers on open opportunities to capture sales.

Request special cost consideration based on vendor rules including registration programs, educational discounts, key promotional pricing, Federal Government rules, etc

Identify alternative options that may result in lower costs, higher margin and an improved customer experience.

Create skus insuring all data is correct and current and effectively manage customer requests quoting large volumes of product (Bill of Materials) using a combination of excel and data base tools.

Quoting requires learning multiple vendor price books and online systems. Timely responses directly affect the close ratio and ultimately sales booked. Ability to offer substitutes and alternatives is key to closing the business. The Product Quotations Analyst is responsible for continually connecting and collaborating with suppliers, buyers, vendors and inside stake holders including Supplier Account Managers, Product Managers, Sales, and Business Development Managers.

Job Summary:
Responsible for purchasing, order management and logistics to mitigate risk and enable profitability.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Purchases and provides order fulfillment activities in support of business demand to positively impact inventory turns and have predictable and accurate supplier on-time delivery.
- Manages the order status process, including ensuring shipping and delivery information is accurate in company's systems. Ensures post Purchase Order (PO) placement updates are complete following PO backlog management process to include tracking, reporting and communication with matrix team members along with working with supplier(s) to meet deliveries.
- Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies.
- Works with warehouse and logistics teams, including transportation carriers, to ensure product is received and delivered on time.
- Manages non-conforming inventory, including product disposition and in-process failures.
- Provides timely communication to planners, sales and customer operations on order status and problem resolution.
- Assists in managing inventory aging and fill rate including disposition - stock rotation/liquidations as appropriate to meet the goals of the business.
