**Maintenance Technician (México)**

**Maintenance Technician** position in México that will be remotely supporting our office in the United States and we want to talk to you! This will be a national search and relocation will not be required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Conducts in-person customer visits to perform preventive maintenance on proprietary industrial machinery
- Generates maintenance reports, documenting any wear-and-tear on items or components that should be replaced and proactively




- Captures drive back-ups and clear images of Voortman machinery before and after the preventative maintenance has been completed
- Safe and appropriate installation of wear items and minor components
- Performs basic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and/or minor repairs on CNC machinery
- Accurately documents all travel and labor hours for designated jobs
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of all business-related expenses
- Identifies improvements (i.e., mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, software) based on own observations, feedback from customers or guidance from the organization
- Clear and concise communication with operators to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Adheres to safety protocols and ensures that maintenance work is always performed in a safe environment
- Participates in training activities to develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills relevant to the position
- Additional duties as assigned by management
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
- Being able to speak, read, and write the English language is required to interact effectively with internal and external customers while out in the field
- Valid visa
- A valid driver's license and passport for travel abroad
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Electrical troubleshooting ability
- Able to read electrical, hydraulic drawings and mechanical manuals
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Experience working in the steel manufacturing industry 2- 3 years
- Professional experience working in CNC machinery
- Computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.) at least two years
