AgileOne Philippines is a Workforce Solutions Company providing services to the USA currently looking for Accounts Receivable personnel.
**Responsibilities**:
US and Canada Tax Filing and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of US state sales/use/excise/gross receipts tax returns and Canadian GST/HST/QST & WH tax returns. Provincial and Federal Tax Compliance.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations. Stay updated of changes in US state tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.
- Conduct reconciliations of general ledger accounts for both US and Canada. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to support business objectives.
- Conduct tax research to stay informed about changes in tax laws for both US and Canada.
- Lead special tax projects, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax positions.
- Provide tax support for foreign countries, including payroll and VAT/GST/HST filings.



Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and Unique Business Owner (UBO) requirements.
- Collaborate with international teams to address tax-related matters.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 4 years experience in US Taxes and Canadian Taxes.
- Proficient in English Conversational. German, Spanish, French, or Portuguese could be a plus but not mandatory.
- Able to work the night shift since the support is for the US.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of pivot tables and V-lookup. ERP Systems and Accounting Systems.
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with keen attention to detail.
