As a Laser Technician Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of laser technicians and ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions for students in laser technology and safety.
- Develop and update curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials to ensure the content is current and relevant.
- Provide guidance and support to students, including answering questions, offering additional help, and providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and teamwork.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance the quality of training.
- Maintain and calibrate laser equipment used in training, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Evaluate students' progress and performance,



including grading assignments and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Laser Technician or in a related field.
- Proven teaching or training experience, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
- Strong knowledge of laser technology, safety protocols, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Laser Safety Officer (LSO) certification is a plus.
- Experience with various laser systems and technologies is a plus.
