Virtelligfence is seeking a seasoned AI Architect with deep healthcare domain expertise to lead the design and deployment of enterprise AI solutions across health systems, payers, and value-based care environments. This role sits at the intersection of AI, data, and healthcare operations, driving innovation across clinical, financial, and administrative domains. You will architect and deliver scalable AI solutions that improve outcomes, optimize operations, and enable data-driven decision-making in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute enterprise AI strategy aligned to healthcare priorities (clinical quality, revenue cycle, population health, and payer operations)
- Architect AI solutions across:
- Clinical workflows (decision support, documentation automation, care pathways)
- Revenue cycle (coding, billing optimization, denial prediction, prior authorization)
- Payer analytics (risk adjustment, utilization management, fraud/waste/abuse detection)
- Design and implement GenAI and LLM-based solutions (clinical copilots, RAG pipelines, patient engagement tools)
- Build agentic AI systems for workflow automation across EHR, claims, and enterprise platforms
- Architect modern healthcare data ecosystems leveraging:
- EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner)
- Claims, HL7/FHIR integrations
- Data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Lakehouse architectures)
- Establish MLOps / LLMOps frameworks for model lifecycle, monitoring, validation, and governance
- Ensure HIPAA compliance, Responsible AI practices, and alignment with healthcare regulatory requirements
- Partner with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions




- Lead architecture reviews, mentor teams, and contribute to hands-on solution design and prototyping
- Support pre-sales and client engagements including solutioning, proposals, and executive presentations

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10–15+ years of experience in technology, data, or solution architecture
- 5+ years designing AI/ML solutions in healthcare or regulated industries
- Strong experience with:
- Healthcare data models (EHR, claims, HL7, FHIR)
- AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
- LLMs / GenAI (OpenAI, Claude, Llama, etc.)
- Python, SQL, distributed systems

Hands-on experience designing:
- RAG architectures, vector databases, and agent-based systems
- Distributed data pipelines and real-time processing frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data stacks (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark)
- Proven ability to deliver production-grade AI solutions in healthcare environments
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage clinical and executive stakeholders
- 5+ years designing enterprise AI/ML or data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Epic (Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle) or Cerner data ecosystems
- Background in value-based care, population health,



or managed care analytics
- Familiarity with FHIR APIs, interoperability frameworks, and healthcare integrations
- Experience with AI governance, model validation, and audit frameworks in healthcare
- Exposure to AI-powered clinical or operational decision support systems
- Consulting experience supporting large health systems or payer organizations
- Master’s or PhD in a related field
- Experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) and AI-driven SDLC automation
- Experience with multi-agent systems, knowledge graphs, and real-time AI pipelines
- Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and enterprise application modernization
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
