**Essential Functions of Job**:
- Collaborate with EIC leadership to understand and forecast component & service requirements for EIC manufactured/supported equipment & tooling.
- As necessary, search for alternative solutions for component/services that do not meet required timing/needs from w/in China.
- Support the ‘make vs buy’ process for equipment and tooling matching EIC competency.
- Manage/issue NA/EU PO’s from EIC NA/EU to EIC China for items sourced to them.
- Execute purchasing requests from EU/NA EIC engineers for components that will be delivered to EU and NA EIC hubs for assembly (RFQ, nomination and SRF process management, sourcing). This includes orders entered/managed through YF’s 3rd party purchasing agent, DSSI.
- Support invoice and payment matters for EIC-related supplier PO’s.
- Collaborate with EIC and logistics department to get machines and tooling from China landed onsite, support lead time tracking and arrival confirmation onsite.
- Support search and development for local third-party supplier support for EIC projects.
- Manage suppliers’ disputes and claims. Support YF-internal plant/AME/EIC concerns with the ongoing push for continuous improvement and world-class equipment/tooling and service.
- Support AP buyers to get the best price for integral components and service.
- Support EIC team/projects in both NA as well as EU.
Lead global frame contract for components, work with team to build components strategy
**Additional Responsibilities**:
Suppliers Development:




- Research global and regional supplier resources like machining, components, installation and commissioning, with focus to Low Cost Country a suppliers’ list for different regions.
- Collect suppliers’ performance on programs with EIC engineers.
- With commodities that apply, manage the NA/EU and potentially global YF/Supplier pricing agreements. These may include key global suppliers like ABB, Fanuc, and Keyence. This list will adjust with time/experience.
Saving:
- Components global alignment to get cost down.
- Saving between machine refurbishment and new machines.
Savings w/in YF pricing agreements with suppliers such as ABB, Fanuc, and Keyence.

**Required Education Level**
Bachelor's Level Degree
Area of Study: Administration, Supply chain management or similar.
**Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.**
**Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)**
- Bachelors level degree, supply chain management or similar.
- Less than 1-year minimum experience within the industry, automotive or commodity related, purchasing experience, operational and strategic industry.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures.
- Practice good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Planning, negotiations, and contract management experience.
- Practical technical knowledge of Purchasing and ERP systems.
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations well.
- Manage and maintain required documentation.
Practice good project management skills.

- Computer proficient (Word, Excel, typing)
- Office Equipment proficient (Fax, Scanner, Copiers, Printers, etc.)
