Ingredion is hiring a Intern for Payroll based out of the GDL location. This role will be reporting to the Senior Analyst Payroll and collaborate within a dynamic, team oriented environment. This role execute payroll transactions for US & Canada business, ensuring transactions are accurate and properly stated. Participate in the month end and year end closing process as required.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the analysis and documentation of current procurement processes at various sites.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of standardized procurement procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and conduct training sessions for site procurement teams.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the standardization project, ensuring milestones are met.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Continuous improvement oriented
- Fluency in English is a plus
- Knowledge in SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.
