**Core Responsibilities**:
As Payroll Manager, you are responsible for the creation and development of a high-performing Payroll Team that delivers a consistent service to all the customers of the Shared Service. This means to meet the customers’ expectations and provide them with a top professional service, incorporating the LEGO values. Beside of this you will be responsible for:
- Guarantee all Payroll Inputs are processed by the team correctly and on time for more than 4,000 employees for USA & Canada.
- Support Payroll Strategy, challenging status quo to improve productivity and performance management,
- Partnership with main stakeholders as HR to establish best in class processes.
- Support external benchmarks to define service delivery excellence.
- Manage complex projects or assignments where professional judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations.
- Providing the Leadership Team with in-depth analysis, identifying issues and trends, which may affect overall profitability of the operations.
- Provides assistance in regards to changes in legislation as well as systems/technology.
- Managing relationship with all third-party vendors supporting Payroll (ADP, EPI USE, UKG)
- Follow and operate according to policies of Payroll processes, ensuring compliance.
- Ensuring great performance in Payroll Accuracy and Timeliness.
- Working with Continuous Improvement Tools, exploring opportunities for efficiencies and cost reduction.

**Do you have what it takes?**:
- Proven Payroll experience in areas of Payroll processing, Accounting or similar
- In-depth Knowledge of North America Payroll: Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, tax rules, and compliance requirements across North America.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ employees, fostering collaboration and driving team performance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across various levels of the organization. Resilient and adaptable in dynamic environments
- Hands-on experience working with leading payroll vendors such as ADP, EPI-USE, and other third-party service providers.
- Using payroll and HR management systems like Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, and UKG to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in operating within Shared Service Centers ensuring high levels of service delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
