**Purpose**
To lead and oversee Orbia’s global internal investigations program, ensuring effective and timely handling (management, analysis, resolution, and follow-up) of reports received through the Ethics Helpline and other channels. In addition, participates in different audit engagements related to control improvement and potential cost savings. This role supports the organization's commitment to integrity by investigating misconduct and partnering with key stakeholders to promote ethical business conduct and process improvements.
**Main Responsibilities**
1. Lead Orbia’s internal investigations program across all Business Groups and geographies.
2. Management of Ethics Helpline cases, including triage, assignment, execution, monitoring, resolution, communication and follow-up.
3. Conduct and/or supervise complex investigations related to ethics, fraud, misconduct, retaliation and others as required by management and the Audit Committee.
4. Prepare high-quality, detailed investigation reports, including root cause analysis, actionable recommendations and detailed fact base supporting documentation.
5. Ensure a strong communication process related to investigation steps/activities and outcomes, to relevant management and the Audit Committee.
6. Partner with Legal, People, Ethics & Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure coordination, fairness, and consistency of investigation methodology,
recommendations and disciplinary measures resulting from the investigations.
7. Deliver investigation training and coaching to business-aligned investigators and cross-functional partners.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Minimum 6 years of experience in investigations, including 3+ years in a multinational setting.
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading sensitive investigations in complex, global environments.
Experience managing Ethics Helpline or case management platforms is a plus.
Must be able to manage sensitive information remotely and frequent traveling for on-site investigation needs.
**Experience Required**
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field.
Language(s) and level of proficiency: Fluent English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a strong plus.
