Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Reno, Nevada, USA Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities : Join us as a Controls Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in Siemens TIA Portal to design and build automation and robotic equipment. This role is crucial in developing solutions from project concept to installation, ensuring high-quality and innovative results. With a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in TIA Portal, you will be expected to integrate seamlessly into our team, with training provided to align with our internal standards .

We only expect candidates to be strong in EITHER PLC or Robotics (not necessarily both) .

IF PLC: must have Siemens TIA Portal experience. Step7 is the previous generation Siemens software and is not applicable for our needs .

IF Robotics: FANUC experience is required. i RVision is a plus but not required .Responsibiliti es Design and build automation and robotic equipmen t. Own and implement solutions from project concept to installatio n. Conduct machine concepting, proof-of-principle, electrical design/layout, software design/programming, and debug hardware/softwar e.



Perform acceptance testing and installation/integration at the factor y. Stay updated with rapidly changing technology to deliver optimal solution s.

Essential

Skil ls Proficiency in Siemens TIA Porta l.1-2 years of experience with TIA Porta l. PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and drive configuratio n. Knowledge of controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode reader s. Familiarity with industrial networking protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet I/P, and Ether CA T.

Experience with 6-axis robots, primarily FANU C.
